SALMON DAYS FESTIVAL LIMITING PURCHASE OF SALMON TO ONE PER HOUSEHOLD
Salmon Springs annual Salmon Days festival fish market will be limiting the purchase of salmon to one per household, and unheard of rule that has the community outraged. Don Charleston, city planner and fish market executive said that there just wasn't enough salmon in the river this year. No matter how much fishing the town did, the salmon weren't there to be caught. Many members of the community believe this has a connection with the recent bipedal bear sighting.
Jill Halcrow, manager of Salmon Springs convenient told reporters that she knows the bear is doing this. "There is no doubt in my mind, that glutinous monster is snatching up all our fish," She told the press, " He'll get what's coming for him." Although purchase is limited, still expect the usual long lines at the fish market, and be sure to get there early to get first pick.
The festival will be starting on the fourteenth, and will go until the evening of the twentieth. There will be games, shops, singing, sport events, and of course the Salmon Springs Annual Fishing Competition. Bring your favorite rod and compete for the main prize of $500 and four large salmon.
